The Focus/Mission of Soul Music

OUR PROJECT:

To plan, organize and execute a musical recording and publication on presentation of HIV/AIDS and management and people tolerance and understanding of carriers. This musical project is call “I will be there”. Afterward we shall embark on an intensive and elaborate road shows and courtesy visit to individual, multinational, companies, governments, international communities vis- a- vis their embassies and other NGO’s to create and generate  further public awareness on the scourge of HIV/AIDS and most importantly the dire need of the society at large to be tolerant of carriers.

OUR OBJECTIVES:

To employ the music so recorded to disseminate information and educate Nigerians people in particular and other nations in general about HIV/AIDS. However while we recognize that news disseminate and education on prevention and protection against HIV/AIDS will essentially be the major focus of this musical project, we shall also utilize the forum to intimate most people about the need to be more understanding and show love to people that are living with the deadly infection.

Live concerts will be organized in school and other public places. Electronic and print media will give the musical project massive promotion via constant air-play, interviews and feature articles.

OUR AIMS:

  • Record a musical project “I Will Be There”
  • Distribute the music so recorded to radio stations, school, hospitals, and NGO’s e.t.c.
  • Fight HIV/AIDS world over through music and love concert
  • HIV/AIDS campaign among youths, school and public places.
  • Meet with religious leaders on HIV/AIDS issues.
  • Meet with world leaders, federal state and local government.
  • Training and recruitment of HIV/AIDS workers and other related disease.
  • Co-operation with other NGO’s National and International on HIV/AIDS.
  • Distribution of drugs and other form of treating and preventing HIV/AIDS.
  • Identifying all HIV/AIDS fighters all over the world and also honor them.
  • Translation of the music and print to every other readable language.
  • Franchise for advertisement and promotional opportunities.

The project  other focus is to send first class Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacist, Health workers and other professionals pick all over the continent  for foreign research, training and discovery of drugs on HIV/AIDS. We also intend to help little Bokang Rakabaele in Lesotho who is seriously affected with HIV/AIDS who need our support, including others. We also plan to visit Hospitals, Prisons, motherless Homes, Churches, tertiary Institutions and other notable places for tours and campaigns.

SYNOPTIC:

So much have been said and done about this scourge of HIV/AIDS. So much more still need to be said and done about the deadly infection. Hence this musical project aptly title “I will be there”, people need to be aware of how to be protected against or prevent from being infected by this deadly virus. But most importantly people need to be educated and inculcated with the ideals and gains inherent in being there for HIV/AIDS carriers. The need to show love and understanding is so paramount that it might just save a life. So many people living with HIV/AIDS are treated like pariahs. So many more have been ostracized from the larger society, they have been stigmatized, and they have been abandoned and rejected. They live in disillusionment and pain. Pains not necessarily from their infection but more from the solicitude of their loneliness. So let us talk about HIV/AIDS, let us talk about life. Let us show them that “I will be there”.

However for the above to be possible and feasible the people need to be aware and educated about their social responsibility. Because without the active participation of the generality of the populaces the lofty aims and objectives of this musical project, “ I will be there” would have been another AIDS awareness campaign in futility.

The sustenance ,protection and prevention of HIV/AIDS might seemingly be perceived by many to be the prerogative responsibility of individuals but it is equally incontrovertible and unarguable that we should also be our brother’s keeper by keeping them well informed and letting them have unhindered access to information on HIV/AIDS.

WORKABILITY:

Music and entertainment if well delivered will attract and hold the intension of the audience by psychologically engaging their emotions while the purpose of education and dissemination of news to enhance the knowledge and skill of the learners for the collective improvement of their circumstances.

Music ubiquity and acceptability makes it the unequivocal number one form of enlightenment campaign. It is disputable that were there is music there will be people. And were there is throng of people there is bound to be a tinge of gaiety because music has a cohesive aura that never fails to bring together people of diverse religions, social and cultural backgrounds.

In view of the fore-goings, it thus becomes imperative for us to embrace this music-oriented alternative method of education and dissemination of information to create awareness on people living with HIV/AIDS and the need to show them love. Hence we are using this medium to present our musical project to you aptly title “I Will Be There"

Sir, during the courtesy visit, we shall require campaign materials like flag, souvenirs, video, audio or print and the right to use them to be added to our project. We also like to have one on one discussion with your humble self on issue like how to fight, eradicate, support, assistance and partnership on how to discourage HIV/AIDS.

During our compilations we want to state the followings:

1)       To associate with you and to thank you for your fight and campaigns  against AIDS.

2)       We wish to feature in your concert, campaign and other future programs.

3)       We apology if been offended for using your logo and name in our up coming project yet to be released.

4)       We are also seeking for the permission to use or not to use your logo and name on our project.

5)       We shall extend our project launching invitation to you and your organization soon.

6)       This are other names of organizations and logos we merge you with and as well slated for soul music awards on HIV/AIDS.

7)      We have also pencil you down for our award nomination.

8)      We shall sent you a copy of each of our work to your headquaters to be distributed.

9)      Finally we are seeking for your support, affiliation, cooperation and assistance even if it is just a drop of it to fight against HIV/AIDS all over the world.

We want to thank God for making us voice among voices and you as the channel in which the voice is been heard. We also hope to have your maximum support when needed and as main entrance to in your community.
